My teachers were really proud of the presentation i put together in on my inquiry progress after 2 weeks (20 hours of work), as I had gotten through almost 40% (estimated) of my plan. In the near future i will be drawing to backgrounds for my scenes in order to make my animation look good. This is my next step as I will be doing that until I have all the images I need to start animating. Which is a lot but I will be working hard today and over this long weekend to try and finish ahead of schedule so I have more time to animate. Along with the background images I will be creating the character models that will be animated. These will be my main characters as well as some background characters and my aliens/martians. Also in the upcoming weeks I will generate my script in which I will write out all the speaking lines from my storyboard, and on top of that, I will find people to play the characters. I will of course be the “main character”, but i have about 6 or 7 characters that have speaking roles. The final thing I need to do before I can animate is create objects like my spaceship, guns, milk, desks, couchs, all sorts of stuff. On an un-related note, my teachers are also proud of the English project I did. From Mr.Khalili, I got 13/16 on the project, and from Mr. Soiseth, I got all meeting expectations. My goal in this project was to meet expectation while not doing much work, but at the same time not doing to little work. After we got back from the planetarium trip, I had about an hour to do some school work. In that hour I completed the entire English project. I eventually realized I missed a part where I needed to explain why my poem was like a film, but that was completed in great time. Finally, the final things I completed this week were the unit 1 booklet for french and unit 5 for math. Right now the only thing I have to focus on, is my inquiry, and completing french unit 3 on rosseta stone, and in the booklet.
